I agree, I have to say I'm pretty dissappointed. The thing is unstable and slow. Streaming video is unwatchable. Any news om a proper firmware update?

I gave up on Equiso and bought a Roku instead for $40. The Roku was easy to set up, and works awesome!

the $99 one is the direct competitor, but there's a spread of options vs price ranges.

My issue is that it doesnt solve the problem with playing local(or NAS) media or play spotify, which is the music service I use.

But... for netflix (and other services) on a TV, I bet it's great.

I installed new update and after update installed root held
so I did not have to re root.
So I really didn't want to go threw whole re root process.

I think he meant that the Roku doesn't play Spotify lol...

My Equiso acts funny when I try to hook to computer so I really didn't want to go threw
whole re root process.
