Change Display Setting from 720 to 1080p
Select Settings->Display->Change Output setting from 1280x720 to Auto.
The screen should go dark and come back with 1080p if your tv change handle it.
If not, you can just hard code it. However, i think its best to leave it at Auto if you have older TV's that are only 720. Smile

Also, these settings won't stick so you need to do it every time you fire up the device.

Thumbs Down RE: Change Display Setting from 720 to 1080p
I have to change it everytime it boots up? that sucks Angry
Too bad can't just change the default value, so it will keep the same resolution.

So by default if i set to auto it will start with 720p, even if my 42" full hd lcd tv is 1080p?

No. Default is 1280x720p and each power cycle it goes back to this. If you change to auto it should detect at 1080p but this setting change is not permanent.
