RE: Flash support???
Flash isn't supported anymore in Android 4.0. You can still install the latest from other sources:

http://www.papktop.com/adobe-flash-playe...15-34.html

Download the apk file and run the installer.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is "flash", and if it's not supported (or needed?) beyond Android 4.0.x, why not? What takes its place? Is its function built into Android 4.1?

Adobe Flash player. It was pulled from the store and no longer supported. I think because the apps you would use to watch video, like Youtube, handle the HTML5 aspect or do support a version of Flash. The browser may not tho so some videos may not play properly.

After I installed it, I clicked on Open. It took me to the adobe web-page, which did not load.
