Movies and TV is a category under Google Play along with Apps and Books. Can you get there from Google Play?

RE: Google Play Movies & TV
Hi Jeff,

thanks for your reply.

Sure, I can access the Play Store and even watch Trailers.
I have already rented a movie.

When I hit play afterwards it says: "To continue, you need the latest Play Movies app."

And this app is not working...

That's what the google support page says:
"The Google Play Movies & TV app
is an application for compatible Android 2.2+ phones, 3.2+ tablets and
Google TV 2.1.2+ devices. To access purchased movies and TV shows,
you'll need the latest version of the app, available here.
Any video from Google Play can be streamed through the app, and in
addition, can be downloaded for offline viewing."

I think it has something to do with the log in.

When you start the app the system asks you to sign in with your google account. Thats not working.

Either it is not working in the youtube-app. A problem other users have to.

Hi there,

I tested the app and it is working fine --- double check that you are typing in the password correctly. I have had a couple similar emails w/ this issue and 99.9% of the time it was user error - so double check that for me and let me know.

I also get the message "Unfortunately, Android System has stopped." when I try to start the "Google Play Movies & TV" app. I didn't type my password incorrectly because I didn't need to type it, I only had to click on my account that was already logged in when it asked which account I would like to use. I am 100% certain that I didn't user error while clicking on my account. Dodgy
