PRO problem playing MKV?
I can't get my PRO to play MKV files.. None of the video players I installed will work. This includes the default video player, ES Video player, MX Video player. The video will "play", but it's just a blank screen, with no audio either.

Anyone else have this problem?

RE: PRO problem playing MKV?
I've been disappointed with the device.. .Since it wont play netflix in any watchable quality, I shelfed it for a bit.. Hope that issue is fixed and if it does I hope you figure this out because MKV is my main video container on my video library.

I dont have anything for you, but if you find a solution, please post.

Stock Video player plays MKV's fine. A bit jerky at times on 720p video but it plays.

Haven't tried MKV. What file size works the best because don't want to start downloading the wrong size?

720p they are in the 4-5GB range. The 1080p are about 10GB. When I tried the 1080p equiso would struggle before. Haven't tried after the july update but the 720p definitely work.

Tried a 9gb mkv file through the usb port. It stuttered at first and then played fine. Had the same problem with flash stuttering in the beginning. Anyone find a fix?

Re: PRO problem playing MKV?
The so called fix is to use 720p instead. 1080p play back is quite resource intensive. Also, try other media players on Android which requires you to manually load the codec for play back.

I dont have a Walmart unit. However I had 2 standards and 2 pros at one time.
From the previous comments from equiso the walmarts are the same as the pro in terms of chipset just minus the bluetooth module so performance should be similar.
