Looks like Equiso Finally released the Pro Update (Build 20130723) whereas the last build was (Build 20130312). My first attempt at the OTA didn't seem to do anything after idling for a 1hr. So, I rebooted the device and clicked on the OTA Popup again. Somewhere in the next hour I found it sitting on the new Setup Wizard.
Changes per EquisoGD_John:
• Youtube app stuttering is fixed
• Wifi reception improved
• Bug fixes/stability improvements (vague—sorry)
• New setup wizard
• Slightly better performance score in Antutu

My observations:
Netflix/Youtube seems to load faster. However, Netflix still seems pixelated like previous build.
Seems to have lost Root Access from the Upgrade. Also, seems like Windows 8 is not detecting the device after the upgrade. Will look into this more when I get time.

Let me know what else you guys like or dislike from this build.

Can you give me a screen grab with your Netflix pixelation? We're aware that it's not as crisp as it should, but I've found it to look better on some TV's than others.

My TV at work, a Samsung 40", looks terrible. But my Sony 32" and Panasonic 55" at home look better (until you're right on it). All 3 are LCD.

Update:
Root Access is still there. It could be Win8 being a pain. My Linux laptop seems to be smarter when doing ADB shell stuff.

Had to blimp the USB Debug a few times before Windows 8 decided to locate the device and add the drivers for adb. Smile

Which version of Android (4.1 or 4.2) is this based on ? Any idea ?

Android Version is 4.0.3 aka "Ice Cream Sandwich"
Equiso hasn't released any of the "Jelly Bean" versions (v4.1-3). I believe there was a Jelly Bean version from another rom floating around the forum but it was lacking network support. Never really had to the time to look into it.
Yea, the screen grab looks to be on par w/what we're struggling with.
Looks fresh now. Excellent.
When I reboot from the 20130312 build, I do get the popup offering the update, I click on OK, then nothing happens, it continues to boot to the 20130312 build.

Is there any way of manually initiating the OTA update?

I had the same problem at first. What worked for me was unistalling my launcher (hd go launcher) then unplug and replug the device, after that it worked for me.

good luck
I uninstalled several alternative launchers as well as my live wallpaper app and a network speed monitor. Still, after reboot the popup displays, but clicking OK does nothing.

What SHOULD be displayed after clicking OK on the update popup?

Is it possible Equiso's server is overloaded or just down?
