What do I have to change in the build.prop to make the ui look more like this picture?

Nothing.

Just install another Launcher, like Go Launcher or Nova Launcher, from the Play store.
You understand you don't answer my question. Don't you?

I haven't tried it but you might find useful information at the following link:

Good luck!
@flouris, @cboxgo:
"The build.prop file is a powerful tool for root users to modify the behavior of various aspects of the Android experience. However, there are no secret values here that are going to instantly make your phone run faster, better, smarter, or more efficiently."
The build.prop file can be edited to affect the PERFORMANCE of the Android device, for better or for worse. It will NOT change the APPEARANCE of the user interface, as @flouris originally asked.
If you want a different "look" for your Equiso, there are launchers that are designed specifically for the ten-foot screen.

Here is one, for example:

It's not great, but you get the idea.

Or, here's another:

anyone know the command to key into the build.p to enable the device to use dongle as the main bluetooth?
@jschall

I don't want another launcher. I want to start learning how I can tweak android ui.
Good luck, @flouris.
As far as I know, the ONLY way to change the LOOK of the Android interface is to change the launcher, not fiddle with the build.prop.
If anybody has a better idea, please help @flouris!
